it's finally the end of my 6 days marathon! with pm and am shift one after the other for the first 4 days of the marathon, im alr shagged by day 5, kept on "huh?", "sorry?", "what did you say just now?"

anw, i dont think i'll miss ward 55B when i leave at the end of wk4. ok, mayb some staff, bt certainly not some others.

and, i totally hate it when doctors discuss their cases right beside us when passing report. it's really distracting. argh. and i hate it when nurses keep asking student nurses to help them get things. hello? havent you learnt to get all the things ready before doing a procedure when you were a student? if you are setting an iv plug why cant you take more plugs of different types so tt you wont trouble others? and why cant doctors search for the clinical charts themselves when it's obviously outside the cubicle? WHY?

it totally sucks when preceptor is not arnd. tt's why today was horrible.

things to look forward to:
1. Angela's autograph session this friday
2. Angela's concert this sunday
3. Von's party sunday

mq hates herself for choosing that patient for case study. so many problems!

ah yes, thought it would be challenging to work on this case eh? roar!

first wk @ SGH ward 55B

attachmt's been great so far. sgh ward 55B is really the best ward i've been to so far! the nurses (and my preceptor) have been very helpful! altho we have been doing junior work for the first wk (and we have to take all the parameters manually. NO DINAMAPS!), i think it's a gd start since we have nt been working in the ward for 5 mths. looking forward to more staff nurse work next wk!
