stayover at NTU

难得四年一次的 leap yr, must blog.

have been catching up on my microbi and doing the case study (sucks) these few days.

anw, lihui and i went to NTU on monday! it was actually a tour arnd NTU and stayover for overnight mahjong at meiyin's room! haha. i was the 大输家!:( lost $1.60.

i guess our speed was quite slow. 五个小时才打了两圈. beyyan was so tired at arnd 3 am so we decided to stop the game bt when she was keeping the table, it dropped on her toe (ouch) and she was awake again LOL.

after tt was card games at bey's room while waiting for our mac breakfast!

anw, i like the indpt hall life. sigh. bt im too lazy.

dogs

watched 狗狗历险记 and was listening to ella's 蔷蔷 ytd night. 突然很想养狗! anw i guess im just 三分钟热度 la. have had fish, prawns, lobsters, tadpole, tortoise, hamster and hare as pets. but they all ended up with my mum. im such a lousy owner.

anw, i guess having a dog will be so much different! dogs wont bite owners unnecessarily i think (unlike the ungrateful hammy!) and they can be good companions too. bt im quite scared of big or hyperactive dogs la. haha.

have seen some friends' dog but i still like schnauzer best!


damn cute rite! bt guess wad! wikipedia says tt miniature schnauzers are prone to diabetes, bladder stones and pancreatitis. They are also occasionally genetically disposed to idiopathic hyperlipidemia! i wonder how true is tt.

anw, mayb i will consider keeping a dog when i've learnt to be more responsible.

am i really ready to be a nurse?

i was walking towards long john from bugis village today when i saw this old man (arnd 60 yrs old) lying beside the road. his head was bleeding quite badly. from what i've heard, he tripped over the uneven waffle lookalike pavement on the grass and fell down.

other than asking the ppl arnd whether they have called for ambulance, at that moment, i really didnt know what i could do to help. am i really ready to be a nurse?

35/04 had a cny gathering today! think it was also meant as farewell party for jz.

ok jz, his dad, and his 2 other brother really look alike!! seriously, if all of them were to be walking arnd the hse, i think i would have difficulty differentiating them! LOL.

after lunch it was some games session, one of which was murderer and i think i totally suck at it! haha! got the police card twice, and twice the game ended with the murderers winning. ROAR!

sad. 5 days holidays coming to an end.

my ah ma said 我比以前更多肉了 (or sth like tt). yes i can somehow feel my 双下巴了! how sad!

bt anw cny is the period to get fat! wont hesitate to eat more. haha!

it was a fun day!

after having 6 hrs of lessons continuously:

The antisocial gang had its first cny reunion dinner at swensens! 为了这个团圆饭，大家都没吃午餐！是有那么一点的夸张。哈哈。although we're seeing each other everyday, bt it has really been a long time since all the 5 of us sat down and have meal tgt!

the journey from nus to suntec was laughing at amy's 糗事 during malay lesson (when she said 'suka' with a hokkien accent), and the curry puff joke.

dinner was great, bt my ice cream (caramel mint cone) looked somewhat like CJ7:

2. went aljunied to meet the 35/04 ppl for supper at yong he dou jiang. we walked frm the mrt stn to the road somewhere near the mrt stn, then decided to go back to the bus stop beside the mrt stn to take bus. after alighting opp the mohd saleh mosque, we walked and asked arnd for the shop (which has shifted to lor 27A), and after walking several streets we finally found it！BUT! it's nt opened for business! omg waysi nearly wanted to burn the whole shop down.

in the end we walked several streets back to lor XX (cant rmb) (我真的是从肚子不饿走到饿) and settled in the HK cafe. then it was another round of laughing.

anw, i was so heartached when i reached home and found tt my yellow nike bag 给我妈洗到脱色!

selamat malam! wanted to type im gg to sleep but dont know what's 'sleep' in malay because i haven buy kamus yet!

if nothing goes wrong, approx 5 mths later, i shd be bingeing in 士林夜市! yay!!:D

it's alr the end of wk 3. bt i think the only module tt i've been paying attn to is malay! (bt my malay is still quite bad)

totally lost during microbiology.

for genes and socs, fortunately for my bio background, if nt i think it'll be equally bad.

contempt nsg is getting worse in my opinion. i prefer mdm liauw's era of contempt nsg!

im trying to get rid of my coffee addiction, bt it's quite bad. i've been feeling very sleepy lately!

anw, i just did a stupid thing. hope i wont get boycott by 933!

btw, the fall on sunday was quite bad. the bruise on my knee is quite big.

lastly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MUM!:)
