SHE PLAY CONCERT

ytd's SHE concert was great!

worth it for the 8.5 hrs queue, 1 or 2 hrs of which we were in the rain, struggling to cut the sausage bun identities.. haha

BOOM-------> 魔力. i really enjoyed myself throughout the 1 hr concert.

we were in the block of seats at the back. altho couldnt really see their features well, at least we could see them dancing on the stage..

六手连弹 was my fave:Thanks to chinseng, kimheng, gerk gerk, jess, joanne, pat, peishan and fren (chee kiang i think)! and also yi xiang for asking us to join him at his place in the queue which was some 50-ppl-distance in front of us.

oh, ytd was actually the FIRST time i go for a 演唱会 !=)

sigh. bt im quite depressed now. sometimes i really hate myself for being lazy.

even if i chiong down now, think wont be able to get their autographs le......

SHE

i thought meeting at 1230 to queue when they were only giving out the tix at 6pm was abit kiasu..

bt i was wrong.

we were alr along the road outside J8 under the freaking hot weather when we started queueing.. so it's 4 hrs under the sun= 烤猪. i looked like i just came back from sentosa. haha. luckily we were in the shelter for the last 2 hrs.

well i guess it's worth it afterall.. haha.

counting down to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

it's less than 48 hrs to the release of DH!

will Harry return to Hogwarts? who will die? Is Snape good or bad? is Harry a Horcrux? Will Ron and Hermione get tgt?

AAAHHH SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!

been thinking about who might die.. since JK Rowling said 2 characters will die, i was thinking snape might be one of them.. yes. i believe he is a good man.

anw, spoilers everywhere!! bt im still gonna contain my excitement until the 22nd jul when i get the book!

and im probably gg to stay away from potter fans' blog, msn, mugglenet etc before i read finish the whole book. hahaha.

harry potter has been a huge part of my life for the past 5 years. It is actually the first book which can make me stay in my room for hours just to read it.

altho all the mysteries will be revealed with the release of DH, im really sad tt the entire series is coming to an end. no more countdowns for release of the book, tho there're still 2 more movies and a THEMEPARK to look forward to.

nevertheless, thanks JK Rowling, for all the memories u have brought to us. it has definitely been an exciting ride for all potter fans. we do hope to see Hogwarts: A History in the bookstores in the near future!=)

Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix

hope u guys have watched this movie!! if u havent, u might wanto skip this entry..

personally i felt tt this movie was good.

some might say it's quite different from the novel.. well, the book is there if you want to know the whole story... bt we (as potter fans) cant deny the fact tt 138 mins was just too short!

i think on the whole, most of the main and significant points were presented in the movie, tho i was hoping to see some quidditch scenes.. oh well.. i guess it's nt significant enough ba.

i think the umbridge role was being portrayed well. the pinkish stuffs, the irritating "hem hem" and the girlish laughter.. omg. i think i have muttered '恶心' quite a number of times while watching the movie!

Tonks was similar to whom i imagined, except tt i thought she shd be much younger. and i think her hair is so cool. so good to be a metamorphmagus! and also, with such little time for the role, i think it was being portrayed well, too, with just a wink and a trip which showed tonks' cheekiness and clumsiness.

i think Luna Lovegood was simply great. the dreamy character. i really love her. =)

the bad part was tt i thought the animated characters were nt as good as previous movies.. esp kreacher and grawp. they didnt look as real as dobby (in movie 2)..

oh and my fave part was the weasley twins and the fireworks! i think tt was really fun!

nt v used to potter's movie with snape's and hagrid's dialogue being so limited.. bt i think Snape's "no idea" was really hilarious. haha.

i wonder if u all realised tt Ron and Hermione's 暧昧关系 was somehow being shown in the movie.. like laughing at each other, eye contacts, mild bickering...

and as yw mentioned, harry's hair wasnt as messy as described in the book, and i agree and, at the same time, relieved. harry looked much more better in this hairstyle than the one in GOF.. the GOF one was simply horrible, nt to mention Ron.

the fighting scene at the ministry was superb! and just look at the way sirius waved his wand when he was fighting with Lucius Malfoy!! so coooool la!! (oh the way harry waved his wand when teaching neville expelliarmus was cool too=)) and bellatrix just looked so eccentric. hahaha.

Fudge's "he's back!" made him look stupid. yes..

i thought they could just spare a little bit more time on the part where Sirius died.. it could be better with more emo-ing.. like what joanne said, it somehow seemed tt harry didnt really care much about Sirius's death in the movie..

on the whole, i guess it's a movie worth watching (im nt biased!)

let me explain the colour of my cheesecake. haha. the top layer is supposed to be the strawberry jelly layer (according to the recipe). so it looked kinda orange in the photo instead of yellow..

at the end of the day!:

im back from the OOTP movie!

personally i felt tt it was good, although the movie was far too short.

oh go and watch it yourself, im not gonna write anything here at the moment. haha. anw, i love nymphadora tonks and luna lovegood!! umbridge- booooo!

(i was wondering why many ppl thought luna lovegood wears specs? haha! tt's just the spectrespecs tt she got from The Quibbler! i dont think she always wear tt. haha)

070707- bt timah trip

yes, despite the bad weather, we went on with our bt timah trip!

the day started off with bey yan not being able to wake up! haha. so lihui and i took 67 from bedok all the way to bt timah, and this was when it started to rain, v heavily.

so we met yanling and her bf at bt batok mac instead and i had my 2nd breakfast of the day.

i thought im supposed to burn all my calories today?!?

anw, the rain got smaller and we carried on with our plan and headed to the bt timah hill!

haha. i still rmb the last time i went there was during the green grp outing with ms lim! heh.

and i thought bt timah is a great place for couples!! oh yes just look at the photo below.. the guy walking in front, holding the girl's (who is walking behind) hand. and it was drizzling!! romantic?:and there we are! after arnd 35 mins, we successfully reached the summit!:

haha im quite satisfied actually. perspired quite alot altho it was cold b4 we started climbing..

and yes, some falling leaves (which sort of resembled butterflies) did made me jump abit...-_-
