summary on yijen's trip

the past wk has been wonderful.

vivocity, movie, dinner at chomp chomp, katong laksa, ktv @ teo heng (the v wonderful song 'xuan ze' sang by yj and jy), settlers' cafe, TMS and NUS trip, shopping @ orchard, shopping at bedok, bugis, esplanade, bubbletea and of cos the stayover @ yiwei's hse on the last night

hope to see her again soon (wish it'll not be in another 5 yrs' time)!

shall blog more about it when i get the photos!

i shall gao zi bi these few days too, unless i get myself a pair of shades. sucks leh.. got a bak-zam-lookalike thingy on my right eye! =(

harry potter

met some classmates ytd for the nurses' day musical rehearsal and we were discussing how JK Rowling would end the Harry Potter series:

- harry would die, if not, other ppl would continue to write about it (harry's life after hogwarts)
- voldemort would die, because the evil will always be the one to die
- both harry and voldemort would die

and most lame of all,
- harry woke up and found tt it was a dream. haha!

anw, are u excited?!? it's less than a mth to OOTP and DH!! to prepare myself for the final book, i have been re-reading HBP for the past few days! heh.

and frens, pls go cine one day and take the lift! i was so excited when i went in!=) :

cool?? heh. couldnt open my eyes la as it was 6am in the morning. haha.

will be busy reading HBP, and perhaps OOTP too, for the next few days. and i have jus bought a jigsaw puzzle! hope these will keep me busy for the rest of the hols (i can forsee i wont be able to get any jobs this hols)! and of cos touring arnd singapore with yijen too!!=)

oh we were also discussing about scholarships ytd, like if we get the scholarship when we're yr2, how many yrs will we be bonded, how much is the allowance, what will happen if we terminate the contract.. and i realised tt, i dunno any of the ans! and i have alr signed the acceptance letter.

overnight K again

went for overnight K on tues with ICA again. this time plus jean and ziyang. 7pm-6am. 11 hrs! OK THAT'S IT. no more K for me for the next 3 mths! haha. ppl, pls dun tempt me.

quite sad huh. friends all busy with work, camps, overseas holiday. while im stuck at home, still sending applications for some part time jobs.

can someone organise some budget outings? like erm, bbq at someone's hse, mahjong, tennis, playing boardgames, picnic, movie marathon.... haha.

cant help but feel excited tt yijen is coming over from taiwan to visit us in just a few days' time. time flies! it's been almost 5 yrs since we last see each other!

and just ytd, another taiwan fren of mine told me tt he will be coming in september too.

oh. almost forgot! haha. joanne was on air just now on 933!! wow! hee. singing Gary's 'bei pan' somemore orh. always find it cool to hear friends on air, and joanne's the second one. when's my turn to appear on air??

SH interview

im happy today.

cos i got the SH scholarship!!=) they're really fast.

oh and i must really really thank yy, pat pat and shah! cos their presence really made the environment in the waiting area less tense, and i was not as nervous as i was during the NHG interview. =)

and i was surprised when SH asked about the rashes on my neck. cos NHG asked tt too. haha.

oh me, yy and pat pat, the reps from 3 of the cliques in nursing, went out today after the interview! hee.

eating some dim sum after shopping. tai-tai life! haha. wanted to go 'cha yuan' (a famous teahouse in chinatown tt me, cs, kh, qy and ms pow went a few yrs ago. bt we couldnt find it):

re-watching ISWAK

haha i ended up re-watching ISWAK instead of watching tokyo juliet. i always like to re-watch sth because i can look into the little little details tt i missed out the previous time. =) oh is there ost for iswak? the songs all so nice.. wanna buy leh

i cant sleep

i cant sleep and im having quite a bad headache now..

weird.. i jogged quite a long distance just now. hmm.

oh ya just applied for a few jobs at nineo.com. hopefully i will get a job tt's nt too tiring, reasonable pay and near my hse. HAHAHA! i shall wait.

and guess wad?!? today's 15 june alr!! tt means i only hav 1 1/2 mths to play and school's gonna start again! =(

gg to submit documents for SH interview later. monday will be the interview. hmm. actually im quite pessimistic about the outcome of the interview. cos some ppl said SH interview is more difficult than NHG, and since i cant get the NHG one, i shall not place too high hopes tt SH will want me.

btw, i watched finish zhuan jiao yu dao ai le! heh. quite a nice and funny show. bt think the plot way too drama (altho it is a drama) alr. still think ISWAK nicer heh. think will start on tokyo juliet soon.

sometimes i realli hate myself for being so lazy.

ytd i realli set up my mind to jog to ecp today.

but in the end the weather this morning was quite good so i continued to sleep......

but guess wad, there was another water spout spotted in the east today! and this time there were 4, which lasted for 20 mins!

nhg interview

argh sucks la. gone case.

i got super nervous when i saw that 2 of the interviewers are the ones who interviewed me for nursing last yr. yep, fyi i was rejected by nursing for first attempt, only got in after appeal.

and omg i think my answers to their qns are so not convincing, and rather contradictory too.

plus i totally forgot tt i have questions to ask them! sigh.

so guess it's a 99% gone case.

tmr is the day

omg. gg for interview tmr..

yep. i thick-skinnedly went to apply for NHG and Singhealth scholarship (despite my not-so-good CAP) a few months ago and got shortlisted for interview tmr and 18 jun respectively..

if i were to list down my weaknesses, i guess interview skills would be in the top 10 list.

sigh. someone please bless me.

05/06/07: donut factory

yep! von and i went to DONUT FACTORY today! queued for approx 2.5 hrs! bt think it's quite worth it.. the donuts are really nice!!=)

oh a person tried to cut our queue! how dare she! after deciding tt we shd not let history repeat itself (royston incident), we confronted the person! haha.

jogging

after nearly 3 months, i finally went to jog again...

omg so tiring! i only jogged from my hse to kemb mrt, and walked from there towards eunos mrt..

and von pang seh-ed me. to von: ROARRRR!~~ i only postponed the time to 15 min later and u can actually sleep!!!

i can feel the fats accumulating in my body...

i needa train myself to be able to jog non-stop to ecp again..

31/05/07: yw bdae celeb 07

we celebrated yw's 2 mths belated bdae on vesak day! look at the food on the table!! wow... we ate from 8 to near 11!! and we had homemade gingko barley and fruit salad too..

thanks to kok yong and his bro for the pandan leaves that they got from their neighbour! if not the gingko barley wont be a 'success'. success? nt bad for a first attempt heh.. except for the barley tt we bought which were too big. haha

and of cos the fruit salad made by zh and cs! we managed to finish tt altho we were so full!

and special thanks to ky's mum for helping us with the soup, the delicious cereal prawn, chicken and more! v yummy!!!! =) but think there were too many gingkos added... paiseh to seng and kokyong for giving u my gingkos. hope 2 of u are still well and not poisoned!! haha.

so yiwei... is the celeb GRAND enough?? do u want more? =)

antisocial gang outing

ytd was great!!

my first outing with the antisocial gang (i missed the previous one due to hel meeting)! and we finally went kbox!! and im super happy cos all the songs tt i like are out!!!

and all the craziness tt we had there... act 'idol and fans', sheng1 jiang4 tai2'....
