less than 24 hours before 2006 becomes history.. and I tot it was really fast. I guess I din really accomplished anything great this year bt it was still a fruitful yr for me.

1. temp job at DHL was not bad (at least for the first working experience) as I guess I was lucky to have such a great supervisor whom I��m still keeping in contact with.

2. A level results were ok.

3. im glad I chose and appealed for nursing.

4. 1st sem in nursing was quite horrible, despite of spending quite a lot of time mugging (can be compared to A levels), the results I got were quite rubbish. bt im glad I��ve made good frens in nursing!=)=) I joined 2 CCAs- Roller blading and Ge Yao, bt I have nt attended any of the sessions yet haha.

yep last post of the year..hope everyone had a fruitful 2006 and will have a great year ahead! =)=)

2 weeks block posting: 111206-231206

1st wk was quite ok. nothing much happened. quite slack sometimes cos the ITE nursing students were still there. only rmb chiong-ing case study quite last min. haha

2nd wk was quite hectic. cos we were the only students there. mon and tues I was late cos we were in aftn shift and it was like raining in the morn.. so I couldn’t wake up.. haha.

cant rmb whether it’s Wednesday or Thursday tt I found myself v dumb.
a patient wanted bread, so I went to the pantry and found bread in the fridge and heat it using the microwave. in the end the bread got burnt, and the pantry was quite filled with smoke. I wanted to clear the mess b4 anyone find out. but I was quite suay cos sister happened to open the pantry door and saw what happened=(=(=( so sister looked quite displeased with me. haiz. really felt dumb

was also told off by the AN quite a lot of times for being slow in taking parameters.

Thursday was quite hectic. layhoon came to see us and we (in fact is Daniel and yiwen) did wound dressing and ngt insertion with her. after tt 3 of us did our first ‘last office’.

Friday was day off and we were on aftn shift on sat.. sat passed quite quickly. a female patient collapsed. i felt quite guilty cos quite some time was actualli wasted when I took her parameters b4 she was being resuscitated. hmm. we saw how the whole resuscitation process was being carried out, and helped (in some way). the patient survived, bt still unconscious and I think her condition wasn’t v good when we left. and it was the first time tt I see so many of the patient’s family and relatives gathering beside the patient and outside the cubicle, some praying, some crying.. it was quite a sad scene.

before we left, we did our second ‘last office’.

I guess ttsh is quite a nice place, as in the staff nurses tt I have worked with are all quite nice, and layhoon simply rocks. cant say the ANs are bad, maybe im really slow ba. wont mind gg back ttsh next sem for attachmt becos I think layhoon is really good. bt mayb change of ward would be good haha.

oh plus daniel ge and yiwen jie jie are fun pple! haha. time in ward 5B wun be as nice without them! =)=)

4/3 gathering & OCIP gathering

today was quite well spent=)=)

initially wanted to go tanjong pagar to highlight my hair with von. bt in the end both of us woke up late (again) so in the end it was cancelled..

napped for a while b4 gg for 4/3 gathering. only me, sweeying, daolin, yingwai, seng wee, qingde and andrew came. and qingde and andrew were late like for 1/2 hr. haha. went secret recipe and sweeying and I shared the smarties treat (which wasnt v nice):

oh and when we saw seng wee, we were like.. omg!! he lost alot of weight la. almost couldnt recognise him!
left at arnd 6.30pm for ocip gathering at Hak's place. cos the gathering starts at 5pm, i had to meet angela to go Hak's place ourselves.

Angela: heyz gal, later i meet u, den we go tgt?
me: i reaching at arnd 7 plus. meet at simei mrt at 7?
Angela: kk cya at simei mrt at 7pm.. dun be late kz.
me (*thinking*): late queen asking me nt to be late.. hmm.

at 6.30pm,
angela: hey girl, paiseh i'll prob be late, reach at arnd 7.15pm.

at 7.10pm,
angela: hey girl, sorry sorry.. think i'll reach at arnd 7.30pm.. take ur time k.

in the end angela reached at arnd 7.40pm.. haha.
bt i was quite glad tt she's late cos while waiting for her, i walked towards the newspaper and mag stall and saw this..

hahaha. it's JY!!=)=) oh there's a page inside saying JY will be gg back NS serving another 6 mths from 3rd jan onwards! sad!=(=(

ok back to ocip gathering, we had steamboat at Hak's place. Me, angela, geraldine, jac, liujun, yee ee, mingyun, jeab, yitsiang, royce, han bin, robin, zhi xian turned up.. i tot tt was nt bad, half of the ocip pple turned up.. i alwayz enjoy ocip gathering cos will always be bz laughing. haha. oh and i think having steamboat at someone's place for a gathering is so much better than at marina bay cos it's so much cheaper, more convenient, healthier, more comfortable, and there's tv too. haha

i left with angela and yitsiang at arnd 11 plus while the others went to watch movie.

took cab home with angela and yitsiang (altho i could have taken bus) cos yitsiang and angela missed the last train and they said 3 ppl share cab cheaper.. in the end i only paid 2 bucks cos i only had 2 bucks left haha.

yep so basically tt's about all.. meeting the 3 guys for breakfast tmr! will nap in the aftn before meeting 35/04 for year end dinner + countdown!

Kbox @ cine

went K with von today.. i think we got keng1 by them la. paid 17.50 for the 2-7 slot and we got chased out at 5.30pm. initially we wanted to si3 lai4 bu4 zou3, bt the system deleted all our songs (arnd 20+ songs) after we sang ling3 wu4 and we couldnt dedicate anymore songs=(=( oh i think this is the first time tt i actualli sang the ling3 wu4 at kbox. and i actualli finished the whole song. after singing this song, we realli pei fu xin xiao qi (and chin seng) cos this song is realli difficult to sing! haha.

anw, my letter was read out juz now during xian ge ji yi on 933 at arnd 10.35pm! haha. hope u guys have heard it=)=)

results

haiz juz saw my results and i tot it was quite, bad. and i tot my CAP was quite low. bt anw, will not let it spoil my mood for the rest of my holidays! will enjoy my hols and work hard next sem.

joanne sent me an sms juz now, asking me to go citylink now cos she saw junyang shopping with 2 other shuai ges! arghh! y is joanne so lucky?? haha. anw have asked her to help me take some photos le.

oh and i din go jogging with von today.. cos both of us woke up late! haha.

tai tai day

went for badminton with qingyun, yiwei and may ee!!
after 1 hr of game we went yiwei's hse and play mj! haha. suddenly felt like a tai tai. bt quite enjoy la haha! =)=)

countdown with 35/04 this coming sunday at esplanade again! think it'll be a less self-entertaining event and more watching of fireworks ba=) 7pm at cityhall again for dinner and 10pm we'll proceed to see the fireworks!=)=)

qingyun and yiwei were saying wanna go escape cos the entrance tix is only $6 until 2 jan. hmm was thinking actualli escape, like nth much also. esp for me who gets nauseous even after the pirate ship ride. bt since it's 6 bucks only, mayb can go with them? mayb juz keep queuing for the ferris wheel and go kart lor haha!

i din go for the feast at sis hse cos i woke up quite late. haha. bt i still went for 35/04 gathering..
went esplanade and sat there to countdown ourselves(kind of self-entertain la) haha. darren din come cos he had some duty or sth, so some of us smsed him and countdown with him! haha.
altho the night was quite boring cos esplanade had no countdown event, i guess we realli self-entertained ourselves with the mass singing, and chin seng's v amusing version of "from taipei to beijing" MV! thanks chin seng it's realli v funny!! haha.
after tt we walked towards cityhall mrt. a few ppl went home while some of us went to Simpang Bedok to have supper.
the walk from tanah merah mrt to Simpang Bedok was quite fun cos as usual we self-entertained ourselves again. haha. had prata and ice milo. oh prata reminded me of sth v er3 xin1 which waysi told us before we ate. bleah so er3 xin1 dun wanna write here haha.
took cab home with kim and waysi at arnd 3 plus and i tot the cab uncle was kind. cos as wad ky always say, i live in those ulu pandan place, the cab uncle went waysi's hse, followed by kim, den finally to my place. before i alight the uncle asked me whether need him to wait until i get into the lift before he leaves. so good rite. haha. was quite tired when i reached home bt i din sleep. guess wad? i watched the hk drama Survivors' law vcd with 2nd sis until 5 plus in the morn! haha.

DHL memories

tmr will be my last day of attachment at TTSH. nt sure whether we will be in the same hospital next posting. have been counting down to tmr and how im gonna enjoy my hols which is only 2 wks long. this reminds me of my days in DHL.. munting yiwei and me were like counting down to the last day of work, and yiwei even wrote the number of days left in her calendar. bt on the last day of work i was quite sad. i had great colleagues and supervisor. maybe it's the work tt i detest ba haha. and hey, it has been one year since i joined DHL (19 dec05-19 jun06)!

din manage to finish the case study b4 i sleep so woke up in the morning to chiong finish. was quite last min bt seriously, realli cant be bothered with it. went attachment after tt and chionged home to watch triumph in the skies.

Saturday, 161206:
had attachment in the morn. was super tired cos was on aftn shift yest.. went home and napped for 2 hrs b4 meeting hcl peeps at settlers' cafe at Katong! yong ann came!! he's still as funny as before!! hahaha. was laughing like mad when we played jungle ____ (opps forgot the name of the game haha) yong ann is really v funny. he used the army water bottle and we were like .... hahaha. went midnight kbox at parkway after tt! wow! first time leh =) =) heh. i guess i realli cant sing. zao xia in all the songs=( =( oh midnight kbox is realli ex leh. hmm. haha. klunch (3ppl) is still the best. haha. oh took a photo with yanling using her hp:

yanling's bf was kind to drive us to bedok itc. haha. went to yiwei's hse with chin seng after tt to discuss zhenghong's belated bdae celebration. took the first bus home at arnd 0530.

packed my 'luggage' after i reached hm. and accidentally slept. luckily yiwei called my hse at 8plus to wake me up. chionged to yiwei's hse again to finish up my page in Tea Times 4(oh tea times 4 is a prez for zheng hong). helped to cook the prata. ok i guess i continue zhenghong's bdae celebration in a new post when i have the photos. haha.

reached home at 11 plus and slept.

Monday, 181206:

woke up at 1215 and chionged to TTSH cos i'm in aftn shift.

K think tt's all. 4 more days. and i shall be free.

after exams!

wooohooo!! I’m finally done with the horrible exams!! *pats on my back* dunno whether I deserved the pat on the back anot cos think I’ll faint when I get back the results. bt for the moment I’m juz so gonna enjoy b4 attachment starts!
I actually started slacking on mon after caring process… was super duper depressed after the caring process paper and I went home to sleep.. woke up in the evening for dental appointment. oh yea Dr Cheng changed the wire and asked me whether I wanto change the colour of the bands... I asked him what colours he has and he said he has any colour.. initially I thought of wanting red and green to match with Christmas.. bt like v fussy leh so I told him blue.. =) =) think next year cny I will request to change to red or orange.. haha.

oh yea after dental appointment I went home and started studying abit of nursing skills, and started entertaining myself with zhiyong’s blog..haha. went to sleep at 5am..
wanted to wake up at 9am to study bt woke up at 2.30pm instead.. study abit and napped for 1.5 hrs at arnd 5 plus, and started to panic and chionged nursing skills until 4am when I went to ‘sleep’. in fact I didn’t sleep at all. tossed and turned until 6am and got up to get ready to go sch.. mayb too excited tt it’s the last paper. finally

I guess im really an ultimate slacker. was doing some last min memorizing outside the exam venue, listening to 933. and I heard the DJs saying they will be giving out the tickets for 满城尽带黄金甲 and I started preparing to sms in.. when I saw 在不远的地方 joanne is laughing and saying she is also listening to 933.. haha! the DJs asked a question regarding the movie, and so happened tt I dunnoe the ans and I immediately asked joanne. we smsed in and waited bt it was 9am and we had to enter the exam hall. so joanne called her fren to listen out for our names.. bt in the end we still din win la. nt fast enough I guess. nvm, I’ll try again tmr! =) =)
yep. after nursing skills went cine with wendy, yy, pei shan, jess, celine, xin ying, pat, gerk sin and liwei to cine! like kinda weird rite, 2 gang merge de outing plus me the rep from anti-social gang and emily. haha. oh we went the food court and I ate the ban fan! super nice! =) =) thanks to emily for recommending! (btw this looks abit messy la i only decided to take a pic of the food after mixing and eating one spoonful haha.)

went k after tt! had so much fun dueting, she-ing, mayday-ing, fish-ing, jay-ing, jolin-ing and more!! I simply love gary and 卓文宣's 梁山柏与朱丽叶! haha. and really sooo many more duets! first time I sang sooo many duets! haha. although some were quite disastrous with my horrible voice. will train hard on the duets and thrash it out next time!

yy left quite early cos she had sth on =( anw we continued and became quite high midway with some really high songs! haha. finished all the songs by 7+ and went over to gerk sin’s gang rm (oh btw we were in diff rm) and stayed and sang for quite some time cos no one chased us out =P
Gerk sin’s gang went home after tt while we continued to hang out. oh and we saw Daniel with his new hairstyle outside cine when we were bidding goodbye to gerksin’s gang. haha Singapore is really small..

went to see the Christmas lightings! woo~ so pretttyy! =) =) oh yes i luvv this! it's so bluey! this is outside heerens! check it out! =) =) yes this is the gigantic christmas tree outside paragon!
went to taka and saw this cute display!

it was 9.55pm when I alighted from bus 7 so I walked home at super fast speed and managed to catch abit of the song of triumph in the skies. =) =)

kk think tt's about all.. oh anyway if u count, i woke up at 2.30pm on 05/12, and i have nt slept since..nt gd health. haha
