clean, green and hygiene carnival

was awoken by 2 things after sleeping for 4 hrs:
1. pain in my right lumbar region
2. the noise juz below my block

i hav no idea y there's this sudden pain in my right lumbar region. mayb some faeces-to-be stuck in my ascending colon? hmm

as for the noise, i can say it sounds quite familiar.. the same "bloken engrish" man hosting an event at the amphitheatre.. and i suddenly rmb sth:

ohh.. it's the clean, green and hygiene carnival! haha. wow and the guest of honour is SM Goh! haha. i saw this banner being put up like a few days ago.. was quite excited when i saw the guest of honour was SM Goh.. hey, other than at ndp, where else do u think u can see SM Goh? i rmb i used to chong2 bai4 him when i was young, thinking he's a great man.. i actualli hav a photo taken with his wax figure at Madam Tussade's wax museum when i was pri6! haha shall scan and post it when i am free to find it.

ohh... and i heard the song "let's get retarded".. haha.. tj's mass dance song! i misssss the happy times in tj~~~~ tried to recall the mass dance steps.. haha bt can only rmb chorus de first part.. haha. still rmb mass dance was one of my fav things during my jc days besides the good food.. (time really flies.. 1 year ago we were still taking our As.. )

watching doraemon now.. saw the commercial of PSC nite.. huh?!?! chen shu cheng no longer the host for PSC nite le? did i see correctly? still rmb it has alwayz been hosted by him, eversince the PSC show started i think.. now change to lee Teng, michelle chong and chen tai ming.

ok i suddenly heard the host saying:"ladies and gentlemen, let us put our hands together to welcome our honours of guest-of-honours....."

juz want to add sth: yest took cab home with lihui and audrey.. altho the cab driver abit lor sor, keeping talking, bt i find him v nice..

cos we took the cab from NUH, and he asked whether we're working in NUH.. we told him we're students from NUS, and he tot we're medicine students.. we told him we're from nursing and he seemed v interested and kept asking about our course.. and think he was actually the first person who praised us and said nursing is a good course.. and nurses are v noble..

when we alight, he was actualli saying "bye bye wei4 lai2 de4 hu4 shi4!"

felt like slapping myself yesterday. slept on the mrt, reached eunos station and was walking towards the bus stop, feeling hungry, drowsy, sleepy… the next thing I knew, I fell into a drain. and my laptop flew towards a lamp post..wanted to cry lah! I picked up my laptop and switched it on.. heng still working.. but got 4 ugly scars on my laptop, and 5 cuts on myself, and 1 hole on my pants.. =( =( =( =( v v v angry with myself. stupiid me. I shall not use that cheapo 16 bucks laptop case ANYMORE. shall use the one fujitsu gave when I bought the laptop. more protective.

today had anat CA2. said "Por Bee" 3 times b4 entering the exam hall. haha. learnt tt from zhiyong. but think it’s nt v useful. focused on urinary but not even 1 qn came out.

Back to the male cubicle today.. the NYP students have completed their attachment.. so thought today was quite bz.. served diet, took parameters, assisted shower, bedmaking.. oh and i did oral hygiene for a patient first thing in the morn today.. oh and Johari taught us wound dressing.. Yiwen and Daniel got to observe the doctor extracting bone marrow.. bt i missed it.. cos i was assisting Johari in wound dressing.
saw an alpha X cell in my cubicle today.. and grabbed the chance to ask Ridwan how it works.. hmm. think can consider one learning objective completed le =) =)
there was this very interesting uncle in my cubicle today.. Sister Kala was teaching new HCA (i think) about using the thickenit. And she keep saying 'dun blindly follow instructions given to you. Ask why.' this male patient heard and kept asking why when we do sth for him.. haha. and this uncle v active la. we wanted to bring him to shower and he was like wanna jump out of the bed when we wanted to transfer him to the commode! scare us! haha.
finally met amy, evon they all during lunchtime. Evon was saying there's a good-looking and nice doctor in her ward.. haha!
After lunch we observed a doctor off stitch for a patient.. it was fast.
then there's 2 new patients admitted into the ward. served bedpan for one of the patient and wanted to leave for the lesson alr bt a SN asked me to take parameters.. thought it shd be quite fast if i use a dinamap so took a dinamap quickly bt met with some unforeseen circumstances thus was delayed. was late for the lesson.. talking about the lesson.. zzZZzZzzZz~~~ so boring! Lay Hoon was on leave and Caroline (i think) took over.. wah~ almost fell aslp la. keep yawning and not only me la.. amy was yawning away too.. bt seems tt Caroline got the hint only after quite a long time before she gave us a break..
felt like a pig. keep eating alot these few days. yest while studying in sch keep eating.. today ate you mian for lunch, and got hungry during Caroline's lesson. bought milo and wang wang. after the lesson went Mr bean to buy the soya bean ice cream.. oh. think i saw the superhost champion when i was queuing.. initially noticed this lady cos of her hair. quite cool. den saw her face and realised she was the superhost..
Took bus home.. ppig me. missed the stop again! took 21 outside Novena Sq and i'm supposed to alight near eunos there to switch to bus 26.. but i slept and missed the stop.. -_-" alighted at bedok resevoir and took 28 home..

bdae celeb proposal

bz bz bz. me, audrey and evon contracted pimplitis (infection of the pimples) these few days.. spread by amy! haha. no la. mayb too stressed due to patient education proj.. FINALLY it's over! yay=) hope we did well.. spent so much time on it.. bt can see tt miharu is very amused by our video.. but think our presentation is quite boring.. bt anw, it's OVER! =) =)
